Man Plants One Tree Everyday for 37 Years

Very inspiring video of National Geographic which showcases the power of persistence and focus. This man planted a forest bigger then central park by himself by planting one tree every day since 1979! I feel this is one of this really big stories, which can inspire people. Imagine if he would have had a team.

Lessons Learned

  • To achieve something, put effort in it every day.

Questions

  • What is important enough for you, to work for it for years? What is the underlying goal of that? (The man in the video wants to change his island, not only plant trees)
  • If something is not that important, should we still put effort in it? (I am really not sure about that)
  • How can you motivate people to help you with your vision?
